We regret to announce the passing of Gordy at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 85.
Much loved husband of the late Margaret Gibbs. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Amy Gibbs and brothers Fred (Audrey), and Jerry (Ann). Gordy is survived by his sisters Ann Clement (late Donald) of Victoria BC, Judy Chytil (Milosh) and brother Tom (Carolyn) of Georgetown, ON. Brother-in-law of Dawn Wasyliniuk. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Gordy was a journeyman for many years with Great Lakes Power. His difficult journey of the past five years is now complete and Gord can finally be laid to rest with his beloved Margaret. We would like to send special thanks to Dr. Patterson, Jennifer Hendrie, Dr. Hill and the dedicated Geriatric team at the Sault Area Hospital.
