January 20th, 1934 - March 20th, 2023
The world lost such an amazing man on March 20th, 2023, surrounded by his family & friends who loved him so very much. Right up until the end, John lived his life to the fullest, kept his sense of humour and loved with his entire being.
John was such a strong presence both to his family and friends. He lived life on his terms and passed away the exact same way!
John was such an incredible Husband, Father, and Grandpa. Although his physical presence is no longer with us, he will always live on through our hearts and memories.
Loving and devoted Husband to Lois, amazing Father to Bob and Marnie, and most of all, his pride and joy, Granddaughter Hailee. We cannot forget to mention his Fur Baby Makoonhs who he shared a special bond with.
John was predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Emma and Ernie Gill, brother Bill (Gloria), sister Roberta. Still so blessed to have with us his youngest brother George and his wife Rose.
John was blessed to have in his life many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, and nephews from both the Gill and Trudeau side of the family.
At John's request, there will be no celebration of life until his loving wife Lois is with him once again.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society (Payable online or by cheque).
