With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Giovanni Giunti at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the age of 97. His family takes great peace knowing he is now reunited with his beloved wife Angela Giunti (Coccimiglio). Loving father of Pat (Darlene), Fiore (Laurie) and Gino (Sherri). Beloved Nono of Pat Jr. (Heather), Joanna (Chris), Christie (Chris), Amanda (Jordan) and Nicholas; Great-Nono of Pat III (Blair), Abigal, Grace, Sam and Juilianna. Son of the late Pasquale and Francesca Giunti. Dear brother of the late Antonio Giunti (late Carmela), Fiorenzo Giunti (late Eva), late Anne Coccimiglio (late Antonio), Eugenia Coccimiglio (late Francesco), Ermenia Coccimiglio (late Vittorio), Ameila (late Ermilio), late Eugenia Giunti. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SAH Palliative Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
