Peacefully, at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the age of 83.
Loving wife of Robert H. Gordon for 61 years. Caring mom of Robert Gordon (Barbara), Heather Cassis (John) and the late Mark. Devoted nanny of Elaina, Jillian, Caleb, Jonah and Sam. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Miriam Forsey. Sister of Bud Forsey (Jackie) and Donald Forsey (Gail). Sister-in-law of the late Jessie McGill (late Ed) and Georgina Bennett (late Jimmy). Violet will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating, all are welcome. Private family interment Greenwood Cemetery.
