It is with profound sadness that we, the loving and devoted children of Enrichetta, announce her sudden passing into the loving arms of our Blessed Lord, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. She is now reunited with her loving husband Francesco, after 45 years. Enrichetta was born in Marano Marchesato, Cosenza, Italy on January 8, 1929 to Vittorio Nigro and Rosina Bartucci Nigro. Nothing brought more joy to our mother than to be with her children. She was the proud mother of Lorenzo (Donna), Peter (late Kim), Ann Ciaschini (Bruno), Connie Gassi (Michael), Joe (Cathy) and Grace Bernardo (Sam). Beloved and adored Nanna of Andrea, Paul (Kayla), Aaron (Melissa), Brandon (Jessica), Jasmine (Ryan), Alyssa, Joey, Ali, Caleb, Nicolas, Danielle and Gabriella. Precious Great Nanna to Natalia, Paul Jr., Julianna and Olivia. Sister of Michele Nigro (late Leonetta) and predeceased by her younger brother Giuseppe Nigro. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jerome Church (26 Carmel Road) on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Pat Woods officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In memory of our dear mother, charitable donations may be made to ARCH.
