Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Arnold Hackett.
Loving mother of Patrick (Sheila), Michael (Angela) and Susan Kniahnicki (late Edward). Proud Grandmother of 5 grandchildren Julie, Jeffrey (Tammy), Sarah, John and Cameron. Great Grandmother of Jordan, Draidyn and Keegan. Dear sister of Jim Jermyn (late Iris), Tom Jermyn (Fay) and predeceased by Mary Fry (Edward) and William Jermyn. Shirley will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. David Fera, Dr. Luke Fera and Dr. Karen Booth. Thanks as well to all the staff, physicians and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital for the compassionate care that they provided. A private interment will take place at St. Lukes Columbarium.
