We knew the day had finally come. A day we had grown to fear. It’s much too hard to say goodbye to the one you love so dear. February 25, 2005 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario. We as his family are able to bring him home to Sault Ste. Marie for his final resting place, made possible only by the love and support of our families here. Lyle’s sister Donna Hadden, brother-in-law and brother Elgin Harten and mother-in-law Annabelle Harten. Lyle is predeceased by his parents Sarah and Walter Haight, his sister Glenda Harten, and his brother Bill Haight. On this earth, Lyle’s greatest love and devotion was given to his family: Phyllis (Harten) wife of 46 years, sons Kevin, Curtis and Warren, daughter Colleen, daughter-in-law Theresa Haight, and son-in-law Byron Coates. Seven blessed grandchildren: Janel, Laila, Andrew and Zacharey Haight, Delina, Ethan and Olivia Coates. Be at peace Lyle, Dad knowing that your strength lives on in all of us. Love Phyllis, Kevin, Curtis, Warren and Colleen. Lyle’s family will receive friends at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, March 4, 2005 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Interment Richards Landing Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
