Cherished mother of Beverley Reid (Dan), Dean (Alyson) and Trina Spina (Ronnie). Precious and proud Grandma of Rebecca, Kaylee-Glenda and Joshua Reid, Deanna and Stephanie Harten and Annabelle-Sarah and Thomas Spina. Glenda is predeceased by her parents, Walter and Sarah Haight, and will be clearly missed by her mother-in-law, Annabelle Harten (late Edwin "Pop"). Dear sister of Billy Haight (Betty), Donna Hadden (late George) and Lyle Haight (Phyllis). Sister-in-law of Emerson Harten (Arlene), Phyllis Haight and the late Keith Harten (Carol). Special "Aunt Glenda" to many nieces and nephews. Glenda was a wonderful Friend to many who enjoyed her sense of humour and fun loving nature. She was a dedicated and hardworking pillar of her church, and will be sorely missed by her beloved John Wesley Choir. Glenda always put others before herself, and her generous everyday acts of kindness were endless. Her musical talents, famous pies and constant care-giving comforted so many. As a wife, mother and Grandma words could never express what she meant to each one of us. She was the core of our family. She had a unique role in each of our lives and was active in all of our daily routines, whether it be singing to her precious babies, early morning phone calls, sharing tea and cookies, cheering at hockey games, supper invitations, painting at our homes, special talks with teenagers, shopping trips, camping...the memories will be cherished forever. God has taken the best and she will live in our hearts forever, till we meet again - We love you Mom, XXOO.
