HEIKA, Violet

With very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Violet Rose Heika (Praysner) born December 21, 1942.  She passed away at ARCH on Monday, June 12, 2017. Wife of Gerald Heika for 54 years. Loving mother of Jeff (Debbie), Lisa (John), and Robert (Lily).  Cherished Baba of Jeffrey, Gregory, Patrick, Adam, Emily, Caitlin, Sophie, and Julia. Dear sister to Mary McKay (late Albert), Barbara Rudnicki (Stanley), Walter Praysner (Anne- Marie), Danny Praysner (Joy), Patrick Praysner (Blanca), Kathy Zuccato (Morris), and the late Dorothy May (Buddy). Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday June 15, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral mass to follow at Holy Family Parish at 1:00 p.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to SAH -Cancer Care Fund or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
