With deepest regret, we announce the passing of Donna Hicks (nee Harten) on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
Wife of the late Nolan Hicks. Loved mother to Brenda Harten, Claude Vienneau (Natalie), Rachel Vienneau and Raymond Vienneau (Amber). Nana to Mitchell, Ashley (Jason), Alisia (Julien), Peyton, Hillary, Josephine, Emma, Miley, Jonathan (Amanda), Dylan, Christopher, NiKeisha, Brayden, Kyela and Brianna. Great-Nana to Quinten, Oliver, Amelia, Isobella, Mason, Mabel, River, Max, Maverick and Charlee. Daughter of the late Harold and Isobel Harten. Sister to Christine May and Judy Harten. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many friends.
Donna found so much joy in making sure her family was well taken care of, always taking care of others before herself. We are forever grateful for the many years we were able to with our Nana. She was always in attendance to family events, she was the best lunch date anyone could ever ask for. She loved to play Bingo as a pass time, during the summer you could find nana taking a ride on her scooter to visit the grandchildren. Prior to her husband's passing you could always find Donna out fishing, camping and cooking meals for the family to share together.
At Donna's request, no services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
