It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen Hill announces his passing on Saturday March 10, 2018, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice at the age of 68. Stephen was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on June 28, 1949 to Charles and Agnes Hill.  He graduated from Sault College and worked as a Corrections Officer for 30 years before retiring.  He will be remembered by his family, friends and co-workers for his one of a kind sense of humor and enormous appetite. Stephen loved to travel and spent his retirement exploring many locations in South America, the Caribbean, Alaska and the U.S. When he was at home he enjoyed skiing, hiking, kayaking, home renovation projects and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Stephen is lovingly remembered by his children Wes (Rachel) and Ashlee Biasucci (Carlo).  Proud Grandpa of Claire, Lyla and Allison.  Stephen was predeceased by his parents Charles and Agnes Hill. Stephen will be missed by his siblings; Brenda (Jon), Albert (Jean), Patricia (Bill) and Ralph. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephew. Wes and Ashlee would like to thank ARCH for the care given to Stephen, as well as Bonnie and Bob Thorpe for their guidance and support through this journey.  A Celebration of Stephen’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to ARCH would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Damignani Burial, Cremation &Transfer Service (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, 705-450-0969).
