John Hoar passed away after years of illness at the General Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at the age of 42. Dearly loved son of Nancy Hoar (late Harold "Hap"). Dear brother of James. Close friend of David Prentice. Cousin of Kelly Mullen (Rosemary Parker) of Windsor. Predeceased by his grandparents John and Amy Davidson of Manitoba and Fred and Edith Hoar of Truro, N.S. At John's request, a private funeral service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, May 2 at 11:00 am. with Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Memorial contributions to the Liver Foundation or to the Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks to all the doctors in Toronto, Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie. Special thanks for the care and compassion shown by the nurses in ICU and 200Y.
