August 2, 1994 – September 30, 2018 – It is with extreme sadness we announce Amanda unexpectedly passing gently into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the age of 24 years. Our sweet Angel was so very blessed to have many that loved her. Precious daughter of Laurie Eaton (Steve), Tony Hooper and her other mother and father hand picked by God Jane and Bill Foster. Cherished sister of Kiersten, Tyler, Katie Jane, Rosemary, David, Clarice and Tyler. Adored by aunt’s Marnie (Steve), Patti (late Allen), late Diane, Charlene, Barbie, late Shirley, Gloria and Donna. Greatly loved by many nieces and nephews. Beloved granddaughter of the late Theresa and Sonny Eaton, Charlotte (late Bud Hooper. Special Nanny Irene and two more special Grandma’s Rosemary and Margaret. Amanda had so many special people that loved her and she loved them. Amanda was well known for her big bear hugs and her super human strength. She loved swimming, playing ball, cuddling, music, animals, four wheeling and her best buddy Arthur doll. A private family graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. (Arrangements to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel 492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522). A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2pm until 7 pm at the Marriott Hotel (633 Great Northern Road). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to ARCH, SAH Foundation or Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to all the Dr.’s and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital for their exceptional care. A special thank you to Dr. DiFabio for your compassionate attention to every detail. Thank you to ICU RN Ann, for everything you did for Amanda and all her family, you are Amazing. Thank you to the beautiful angel that brought me a tea.
