HUGHSON, Agnes Catherine

Agnes Catherine Hughson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 26, 2023, at the Sault Area Hospital.  

 

She was born September 23, 1956, in Dundee, Scotland to James P. Hughson Sr. and Agnes Smith Croft Black. She is proceeded in death by her parents, and brother, Gordon Hughson; sisters, Betty Richards and Florance Hughson. She is survived by her brother, James P. Jr. (JoAnn) Hughson; nephew, James J. Hughson (Vicki); niece, Janet (Shawn) Poirier; nieces, Sandra Hurley, Annie Richards and nephew, Matt Richards as well as great nephews Hunter Hughson, Tyler Poirier, Ethan Poirier, great-great nephew Jake LeSage; great niece, Lillie Richards; aunt, Shiela (Phillip) Brannen; cousins, Phyllis Bettelo and Stewart Brannen along with many other cousins in Scotland. 

 

A special thanks to Karen Zucatto, Agnes' lifelong friend. She really loved the visits from you and Lia.

 

There will be no service per Agnes' wishes.

 

In lieu of flowers please donate to a local animal shelter in honour of her rescue cat Storm.
