Born on August 9, 1938 in Chiaravalle, Italy. Passed on suddenly with his wife by his side at the General Hospital on Friday July 8, 2005 at the age of 66. Beloved husband and companion to Janet Iezzi for forty-three years. Loving father to Vince Iezzi (Nancy), Ann Marie Wright (Bill), Anthony Iezzi (Lori) and Catherine Iezzi (Aaron Macholz). Devoted Nonno to Louis, Sarina, Anthony, Emily, Matthew, Thomas and Jullian. Beloved son of the late Vincenzo and Maria Grazia Iezzi. Son in law of the late Louis and Assunta Spina. Dear brother of Caterina Mannello (John), Maria Iezzi, Nicola Iezzi (Chiara) and Pino Iezzi (Teresa) all of Italy, Anna Marson (Sergio), the late Domenic Iezzi (Julia), late Francesco Iezzi and the late Anna Iezzi. Brother in law to John Spina, Joe Spina (Rosemary), Jean Favaro (late Gino), Rita Lesage (late Bill), Carol Beaudoin (Albert), Valerie McMaster (Gary), Vicky Tonner, the late Rosemary McDonald (Lou), and the late Louise Leblanc (Don). Uncle Tony will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Tony moved to Canada in 1956 and was well known for his business “Tony’s Auto Service”. He enjoyed many good years at his cottage on St. Joe’s Island and made many special friends in that community, as well as in the Sault. Special thanks to the Transplant team at Toronto General Hospital, Dr. Febbraro, Dr. Walde, Dr. Bignell, Dr. Connolly, Dr. Perry and the nurses at the General Hospital for their excellent medical care and support. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday July 12, 2005 from 6-9pm. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday July 13, 2005 at 11am in the chapel.
