JAMES, John Robert Jr. “Jack”

With great sorrow we announce the passing of Jack. He died peacefully after a short illness, with his loving family at his side at the SAH Palliative Care Unit, on Sunday, August 21, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Devoted husband of Nettie for 61 years. Cherished father and best friend of Pat (Dianne). Papa Jack will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Rachel (Matthew Drost), Robin, Patricia, Matthew (Maija) and his adoring great grandchildren Jesse, Ema and Noah Harding and Hannah James. He was the son of the late John Robert Sr. and the late Mary James (Watson). Son-in-law of the late Robert and Alma Armstrong. Brother of the late Cecil James (late Dora), late Laura James (late Howard), late Connie McCarthy (Bill) (late Chuck Setchell), and the late Douglas. Brother-in-law of Bertha MacFarlane (late René), late Clair, late Elsie Armstrong and the late Garfield Armstrong (June). At Jack’s request there will be no visitation. A private family funeral service will be held. Rev. Bill Stadnyk officiating. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
