With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our gentle, kind, loving husband, dad, papa and brother on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the age of 63.

"My one and only" beloved husband of Iva for 43 years.  Loving dad of Josh (Bethany), Andrea, Stephen, Jennifer (Justin) and Tamarah.  Proud and patient papa of Samuel, Kennedy, Callie, Emma, Grayson, Harper, and soon to come baby Eleanor.  Predeceased by his parents Case and Marina and brother Mark.  Dear brother of Louise (George).  Brother-in-law of many, many Bakers: Laura (John), Annie (Neil), late Julia (Ken), Ivan (Monique), Chris (Perry), Erwin and Kenny (Kathy). Gave the best hugs to all of his many nieces and nephews.  Special "Bish" of Norman Rathbone.  Bishop Neil Jansen will be missed by many friends and the brothers and sisters of the New Apostolic Church here in Canada and other congregations around the world.

He was dedicated to his work as a Bishop and touched many hearts.  He led with kindness and wisdom and was a loving example of faith to all.

In his words: "Have I told you I love you today?"

Special thanks to the SAH emergency department; Drs. Stone, Boseovski, Evans, Mohammadi, Abbasy, (and Dr. Bodnar), and the many nurses for their excellent care and compassion.

Family and friends are invited to the New Apostolic Church (135 Arden St) on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 10 am until time of the funeral service at 11 am.  Special friends District Apostle Mark Woll and Apostle Frank Dzur officiating.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions, capacity will be limited, masking and distancing guidelines must be followed.  There will be no social or luncheon at this time.  Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the NAC Foreign Extension.  Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522).
