Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Van Daele Manor on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age of 102.  

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth R. Johns.  Cherished mother of Alfred and Jackie Johns, Kenna Morrow, Janet Jamieson, Alan and Beth Johns and Kevin and Karen Johns.  Adored by grandchildren Kristen and Glenn Flood, Christopher Johns, Megan and Jamie Jeffery, Matthew and Jennifer Morrow, Joseph Morrow and Robin Sokoloski, Wesley Morrow and Stephanie Woodill, Neil and Alison Jamieson, Timothy and Lisa Jamieson, Kent and Sasha Jamieson, Liisa Johns and Christian Lafrance, Kevin and Sarah Johns, Tiina Johns and Robbie MacGregor, Elizabeth Lacelle, Rhiannon Johns and Zach Wunderly and great grandchildren Connor and Morgan Flood, Alexander Flood, Zachary and Katie Johns, Emily, Ellen and Natasha Johns, Jack, Isaac and Poppy Jeffery, Annie and Vanessa Medaglia, Leo and Max Lafrance, Jillian, Alyssa and Holly Johns, Finlay and Clarke MacGregor, Izabelle  and Joey Jamieson,  Adelyn Jamieson, Jacobie and Declan Jamieson, Storm and Ciera Morrow, Emily and Kaylee Morrow, Elianna and Coralynn Lamming.  Daughter of the late Alfred and Janet Anticknap.  Predeceased by her sisters and sisters and brothers-in-law Albena and Daniel Johns and  Zella and Douglas Barnes, Grace and Joe Dawyd, Margaret and Lorne Radke, Allan and Marjorie Johns, Ernest Johns, Vera and Bill Wagner, Edgar and Grace Johns and Harold and Norma Johns.  Survived by her sister-in-law Fidele Johns.  Elsie will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Family and friends may visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 6 - 8 pm.  Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11 am.  Rev. Gabriel Araba officiating.  Cremation with inurnment Greenwood urn garden.  Friends are invited to view the service online starting at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 and can be viewed anytime up to 90 days.  Go to www.funeraweb.tv and select Elsie's name to view the service.
