Veronica Korab passed away peacefully at he F.J. Davey Home on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at the age of 101 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Korab. Proud and loving mother of James and the late Edward Sr. (wife Julia). Dearly loved grandmother of Ed Jr. (Vallee), Joyce Vigna (Vic), Michael (Julie), Teresa D'Addario (Nick) and Nita Adams (Donald). Dearly loved great grandmother of 13 and dearly loved great great grandmother of 7. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Saturday, March 22, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon with Reverend Joseph Niesyto officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Children's Rehabilitation Centre Algoma would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the F.J. Davey Home staff for the wonderful care given to Veronica during her stay.
