1927 – 2024
Frank Kowalski, 97, passed away peacefully at Maple View Extendicare after a long and fulfilling life. Frank will be reunited with his beloved wife, Honorata.
He will be deeply missed by his children John Kowalski (Ann), Diane Pietrzakowski (Henry), and Wesly Turpin (Richard). Cherished grandfather of John Kowalski (Brittany), Kristin Kowalski, Ryan Pietrzakowski (Amanda), Katie Burton (Tanner), Michaela Turpin, and Nicholas Turpin. He also leaves behind two adorable great-grandchildren, Hannah and Dominic Kowalski. His beloved grand-dog Abby will greatly miss their daily visits together.
Frank will be fondly remembered by all his extended family and friends in Poland, Winnipeg, Mississauga and Sault Ste. Marie. Frank was known for his fun-loving spirit, always bringing laughter and delight to those around him. His infectious smile and lighthearted nature brightened every room, leaving lasting memories of happiness and warmth. Frank had a passion for singing, and his voice was often heard filling the room with melodies that brought joy to everyone around him, especially during family gatherings. While we mourn Frank’s passing, we take solace in the cherished memories we created with him and the profound blessing it was to have known and loved him.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family church and graveside service will take place in Mississauga at a later date.
The family extends their deep gratitude to the compassionate staff on the 2nd floor of Maple View – Ranger Lake, with special thanks to the Personal Support Workers who provided exceptional care and made every effort to ensure Frank’s comfort. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Berg, Dr. Kurniawan, Dr. Haider, and Dr. S. White for their dedicated care.
