Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in his 90th year.
Predeceased by his parents Teresia and Georg Kreidl. Dear brother of the late Franz (Barbara), Johann Kreidl (late Edith), and Elisabeth Roeckl (late Hans), all of Germany. Georg will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends in Germany. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friend B. Fera.
Georg was born in Ujbarok, Hungary on December 28, 1934. His family fled to Germany in 1945 when the Russians overtook Hungary. He lived in Gunzenhausen, Bavaria, Germany. Learned the trade of bricklaying and then emigrated to Canada in 1959. George installed many bricks on many Headway homes in the east end, in Sault Ste. Marie. A bricklayer who was a well accomplished investor in the stock market. He enjoyed travelling, especially to Germany to visit his family and friends, and also spent many winter holidays in Mexico. George was well liked and a good guy.

At George's request cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place and he will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
