Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday August 9, 2024, at the age of 62.
Patsy is now reunited with the love of her life Micheal Johnston.
Daughter of Monique and the late Daniel Lafontaine. Sister of the late Carole Gagnon (Micheal), Nancy Towers (Ken) and Gail Lacroix (Alain). Aunt to Kelly (Eric), Daniel (Christy), Riley (Alex), Trevor (Jazz), late Richard, Valerie and Vincent. Great aunt to Kennedy, Hudson, Tanner, Ryker, Bailey, Sylvanas and Octavia. Patsy will be remembered by Micheal’s parents, Allan and Joan Johnston and his siblings, Sue (Mike) Power and Stephen Johnston.
She leaves behind her good friends from Sault Ste. Marie, Marcy, Bonnie and Loretta.
Patsy was originally from Timmins. She graduated form Georgian College and became a successful Optician and travelled to Sault Ste. Marie, where it became her new home. Her passion was golf, and she was good at it! She made numerous friends and found the love of her life in the Sault. Everyone loved her dearly; she will be truly missed.
A special thank you goes to the Sault Area Hospital staff, Oncology Department, 3A, 3C as well as the Oncology Department at the Timmins District Hospital and Shauna for being there for Patsy.
As per Patsy’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
