It is with deep sadness that the family announces Mike's passing at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Loving partner of Carol Woroshelo. Dear father of Christina (Jonathan Periard). Proud Papa of Nathan and Hailey. Predeceased by his parents Aline and Richard "Bud" LaLonde. Fondly remembered by his brother and sisters Nancy Strachan (Gord), Sean (Pam) and Debbie Soyatt (late Roger). Dearly missed by Carol's children Paula (Vic), Franca (Chris) and Christina (Johnny) and proud Papa of Teghan and Alexis. Will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to Dr. Booth and all the Nursing Staff of the SAH for their care and compassion. We are thankful for the friends and family who have supported Mike in various ways on his final journey over the last few months.
