1938 – 2023
It is with great sorrow that the family of Elvi Lampinen announces her peaceful passing with family by her side on Saturday, June 10, 2023, after a long stay at the hospital. She passed away one month before her 88th birthday. She is now reunited with her husband, Rauno (2019), the love of her live.
Left to mourn her passing is her son Juha and her beloved grandchildren Erkki and Sara. She will be missed by family and friends here in Canada as well as Finland.
A wholehearted thank you goes to all the doctors, nurses and PSW’s for your dedication and care for Elvi. You will not be forgotten.
As per Elvi’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home, 215 St. James St., Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, 705-759-8456.
