It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Brenda Marie Lawrence (nee Kelly) on Tuesday Oct 26th, 2021 with her family by her side.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband and best friend Phil of 46 years. Devoted mother to her two sons, Jeffrey and Kevin and fondly remembered by her special girls Fiona and granddaughter Abby. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Patricia Kelly. Brenda will be deeply missed by her brothers and sisters who she loved very much; Wayne (Gay), Kenny (Michelle), late Patsy-Jean (Nick), late Ronnie (Jenn), Herb, Karen (Robert), Donna (Jorge), Gary (Brenda) and sister-in-law of Bruce (Lina).
She held a very special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews; Jamie, Kristi, Mark, Kennalee, Kelsey, Todd, Travis, Trevor, Ron Jr., Aaron, Eric, Shannon, Vanessa, Cody, Brad, Jennifer, Kristien, Stephanie, Ryan and Karli.
Brenda was born in Sault St. Marie on July 20th, 1955 and later moved to Kirkland Lake where she began her career at The Kirkland & District Hospital working in numerous departments over the years. She was a beautiful soul and was loved by all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. She treasured time spent with family and friends and will be terribly missed by Gabby Schapiro, Becky Perrier, Ann Denton & Bev Hachey.
The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, PSW’s, Physio and Respiratory staff at Blanche River Health for all their support, care and compassion.
As per Brenda’s wishes, there will be no funeral, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2022.
