We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved mother Doreen Doris LeClair at the Algoma Manor in Thessalon, Ontario in her 82nd year. Mother of Christine Lalonde (Darryl) and Tracy Spurway (Shawn). Cherished Grandma of Elliot, Nathan, Luke and Sam. Doreen is both the youngest and the last member of the Taylor family having been predeceased by her parents Frank and May Taylor as well as her 9 siblings Kathleen, Clifford, Lloyd, Mary, Elsie, Margaret, Loreen, Theodore and Margery. Beloved Aunt to Sharon, Sandy, Sue, Robbie and Darcy. Predeceased by husband of 52 years Rodger Ernest LeClair. Fondly remembered by her best friends Helen, Eleanor, Brenda and Dot.

Doreen was a social butterfly who loved to travel, read, listen to live music, line dance and go to yard sales. She was clever at buying and selling houses and enjoyed the constant change and new experiences.

The family deeply thanks the staff at Algoma Manor and fellow residents for all their care and support throughout Mum’s journey.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Doreen on Friday, August 16th, 2024, beginning at 1pm at St. Paul’s United Church, 308 King Street, Midland, ON with Reverend Canon Robert Elkin officiating. Reception and luncheon following services.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada are appreciated by the family www.alzheimer.ca
