LOCKREY, Clover Estelle

Posted

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital (General Site) on Monday December 8, 2003 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Lockrey of London, Ontario. Sadly, she was predeceased by her three sons, Arthur ‘Art’ Robb, Terrence ‘Terry’ Robb and Ronald ‘Ron’ Robb. Clover survived all of her 5 brothers and sisters. Her most recent loss was her sister Marjorie O’Connor. She is survived by her niece Colleen Morgan and three nephews. Loved and honored mother-in-law of Shirley Robb-Shaw, Darlene Robb both of Sault Ste. Marie and Diane Robb of Berkley, Michigan. Cherished grandmother of Warren, Terrance ‘Terry’, Virgina, Gordon ‘Chipp’, Lesley, Ryan, Brent, Kevin, Greg and Kelly. Precious great grandmother of Travis, Jaymie, Corey, Johnathan ‘John’, Timothy ‘Tim’ Jessie, Warren, Stephany, Ryan, Courtney, Megan, Areal and Jordan. Delightful great-great grandmother of Dillon, Nova, Stefan, Ian, Jaida, Abbey and Harley. Clover will be remembered with deep respect and admiration by her many friends at the Ontario Finnish Resthome Complex where she resided for twenty-five years. Clover was an ardent and gifted Quilter, and much of her time was spent volunteering this gift to make quilts that raised money for the Resthome Association. In all those years, and especially during her stay in the Nursing Home, she held the staff—janitorial, kitchen, clerical, nursing and management, in high regard and love, as part of her family. Her ‘other family’ would like to thank all who played a role in Clover’s care in any way, for your professional and loving care. A private Family Service in Remembrance and Celebration of Clover’s long life, will take place Saturday December 13, 2003 at the Community of Christ Church. Her cremated remains will be placed beside her late husband in London, Ontario, in the spring of 2004. A memorial service will be held at the Resthome for the residents and staff only, on a date to be announced. A memorial donation to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to the Northwood Funeral Home, 942 Great Northern Road 945-7758).
