It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing Elna at the age of 90.
Daughter of the late Severin and Sanni Skeppars. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd MacDonald. Much loved mother of Glenda (Wayne), Lloyd (Delia), Elizabeth "Rhonda" (Dan), and Sandy. Proud grandmother of Iain, Kellan, Michael (Dawn) and the late Chris. Great grandmother of Victoria and Cierra. She leaves behind her sister Judy (Pat). Cherished aunt of Lisa and Mike and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
Elna will be fondly remembered by her family for her warm caring nature. She was a selfless woman who worked as a nurse and volunteered whenever she could.
As per Elna's request friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522) on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am. Rev. George Wright officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Ontario Finnish Resthome or Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
