Harvey Gordon MacDonald, 82, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021 at his home in Sun City, Arizona. Harvey was known for precision in anything he handcrafted, his love of family get-togethers, and a generosity that was without measure.
Harvey was born January 11, 1939 in Hilton Beach, Ontario to Gordon MacDonald and Ellen (Dolly) MacDonald. He was the second oldest of six children. He married the love of his life, Linda MacDonald (nee Hollingsworth) on March 17, 1961. He attended Soo Tech trade school and worked as a mechanic, retiring as a supervisor at Allied Signal at the age of 55.
Harvey is survived by his wife Linda MacDonald; his daughter Sandra Waletzko, grandchildren Sabrina Coker, Jill Cohen, and Luke Waletzko, and great-grandchildren Micah Cohen and Jacob Cohen. He is survived by his siblings, Lois Charron, Roger MacDonald, Annette (Netty) Peckford, and Connie MacDonald.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Alvin MacDonald, his son-in-law Steven Waletzko, and two sons.
