September 30, 1949 - April 3, 2022 - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our matriarch and mother Judith at the age of 72.
Predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Gordon Keith Macmichael. Proud mother of Cory (Tammy), Matthew, Bridget Heimonen (Harri), Jared, Sarah Casella (Michael), Luke (Kozue), and Joseph (Jessica). Devoted Nana to 28 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Survived by her siblings; Murray, Rozanne, Sylvia and Gary and brother-in-law, Douglas.
Judith served valiantly within her Church's Relief Society and as Temple Matron of the Toronto, Ontario Temple. She was above all a wife and mother who loved reunions, trips and cruises with all her friends and family. She loved playing and watching sports including curling, tennis and pickleball. She was also the #1 Cheerleader at her children and grandchildren's activities. Judith loved watching Hallmark Movies, Murder Mysteries and Game Shows right through to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (126 Caledon St.) on Monday April 11, 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to The Canadian Cancer Society or Special Olympics Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
