(September 17, 1924 – April 28, 2018) – Peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Unto Maenpaa. Loving mother of Raimo Maenpaa (Bonnie). Cherished mamma of Marti Maenpaa, Steve Maenpaa (Beth), Melissa Healey (Derek) and great mamma of Danika, Seth, Kai, Nicholas, Aiden, Makenzie, Ashley, late Brooklyn. Predeceased by her siblings Taimi Levo, Mary Kuusela, Emile Kuusela. Special aunt of Eila Mullins (Dave) and the late Armi Nisbett (Jack). A private family visitation and service was held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522). Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiated. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association would be appreciated. Special thanks to Lexine Funston, NP and the staff at the Ontario Finnish Resthome where Eila lived happily for many years.
