Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 64 with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Paul Mahar together for 29 years. Loving mother of Susan Murphy (Curtis), Stephanie Deboer (Darryl), Duncan Mullin, step-mother of Mathew Mahar (Krista) and Kyla Mahar. Cherished grandma of Brandon, Leigha, Avery, James, Josiah, Destiny, Ruby-Jewel, Duncan Jr., C.J., Mathew, Constance, Kelsey, Kaelyn and Teagan. Great grandma of Justin, Nick, Hannah, Jaxon, Arielle, Mason and Khloe. Predeceased by her grandparents Duncan and Janie Murphy and Suzette and Harry Barrwick; parents Curtis and Helen Murphy. Sister of Patrick Murphy (Darlene), Timmy Murphy (Brenda), late Terry Murphy (Debbie) and late Curtis Murphy (Ruth), late Micheal Murphy. Niece of Helen Taylor (late Merle), Dorothy Murphy (Elburn) and Winnie McKinnon (Curtis). Sister-in-law of Eddie, Margaret Fralick, Martha Mackenzie, late Danny, Tommy, late Alison, Vern, Pat and Mike. Viola will be missed and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Grandma loved all her grandchildren with all her heart.

A Celebration of Viola’s Life will be held at Reggie’s West on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the afternoon; COVID restrictions at that time will be followed, the celebration will be rescheduled if required and announced.
