It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara, peacefully, on Friday, April 1, 2005 in Sarasota, Florida, with her family by her side, in her 51st year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Dearly loved wife and cherished friend of William Maki. Devoted and caring mother of Andrea and Adam. Loving daughter of Otto and Hanna Berg of Vineland, Ontario. Barbara was an honour graduate of Sault College. She devotedly laboured at her vocation as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Units of Sault Ste. Marie and Sarasota. She will be sorely missed, for she touched and helped many lives on her short journey through time. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at 4 pm. Rev. Francis Reid officiating. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
