May 22, 1961 - May 21, 2024 - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Rob at the age of 62.
He was son to the late Lester and Anne-Marie. Cherished husband of Sandy Marshall (nee Wigmore) for 35 years. Proud father of Glen (Amber). Devoted "Papa Rob" to Killian and Kirsi. Rob will be missed by his siblings Deanna Huizing (late Chris), Kim (Suzanne), the late Brian (Donna) and Dawn Hope (Steve). Rob will be fondly remembered by the Hopkins' family whom he adored. He will also be missed by many students and colleagues with whom he formed bonds with over the years. Rob leaves behind man nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Rob was an extremely active member in the community, his interests were endless which included volunteer work with Victoria Presbyterian Church, playing and coaching soccer, camping, fishing and the outdoors. He was heavily involved in the musical theatre program at Korah Collegiate, as well as the robotics program. His kind nature and giving spirit will be remembered and missed dearly by those who loved him.
Friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) on Tuesday May 28, 2024 from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm officiated by Rev John and Charlene Wilson.
