With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mom, Jenny. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the F.J. Davey Home on Friday, August 31, 2018 in her 95th year. Devoted wife and best friend of the late Robert for 63 years. Dearly loved mother of Gail DeConto (Rino) and the late Richard Martineau (Janice). Loving grandmother of Chris DeConto (Erin), Keith DeConto (Karen), Neil Martineau (Karen), Leanne Martineau and Lana Martineau (Todd). Proud great grandmother of Joshua, Haley, Evan, Sadie, Dillon, Harper and Bailey. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Alice Reed. Dear sister of Bell Connolly (late Tom), Alice Etherington (late Dave) and predeceased by Peggy Twitchen (late George), George “Doad” (late Jean), Richard “Dick”, Harry (late Eve) and Madge Blythe (late Maurice). Sister-in-law of the late Draper (late Evelyn), late Margaret Louise (late Joe) and the late Doreen Hayley (late Raymond). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the F.J. Davey Home staff of Apple Orchard 1 for their wonderful care and compassion.
