Terrence Wayne Mattioli, loving husband and father, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 at the age of 86. His endearing love will be a source of strength and comfort forever. Born on November 19th, 1935 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, Terrence was the son of the late Joseph Mattioli and Jean McNaughton. He graduated from Sault Collegiate High School in 1954 where he was named All-Around Athlete of his class. Terrence was also a member of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. He attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he studied Chemical Engineering and played basketball.

In 1968, Terrence and his wife Shirley and their children, moved to King of Prussia, PA. Initially employed by Allenwood Steel as a manager, he later found his ideal job at Betz Laboratories as a Water Treatment Consultant in Trevose, PA. Terrence loved life and he had many interests. He found solace in reading everything and anything, taking photographs of nature, and kayaking on the lake. Swimming and playing golf with his son were some of his favorite past times. He loved traveling the world with family and friends and exploring the countryside with his wife, Shirley. His undeniable appreciation for life will always be remembered. Lattanze and her husband Mark, of Audubon and Christine Roberts of Ambler. He is predeceased by his son Mark Mattioli. He is the dear brother of the late Carol Grant and Paula Rizzo. He is survived by his sisters, Sharon Young and Pamela Bostelaar. Terrence is the proud grandfather of Anthony (wife Sarah), Kara, Matthew, Nicholas and Liam. He is the loving great grandfather of Althea, Felix and Elvis.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at theAnton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Ryan Balsan, First Presbyterian Church of Ambler, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ambler, PA. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Terrence’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley
