June 27, 1959 - May 27, 2018 - Ross died peacefully in his sleep one day before radiation treatment was scheduled to begin. Beloved son of Julie and the late James McFadden. Brother of the late Kenneth McFadden (Fannie); Diane Allan (Scott), and Ruth Koskenoja (Marko). Uncle of Rachel, Michelle and Jonathan Allan. In his youth, Ross enjoyed cross-country running and skiing, and during his ten years in the military he trained as a radar technologist. Despite suffering from mental illness, Ross will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness and stoicism. We wish to thank all those who have helped Ross on this journey. He is now free. A private service and interment is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honour to the CMHA Sault Ste. Marie Branch, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of choice.
