Passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53. Sheena leaves behind her children Garth (Brandi), Desiree (Rick) and Garret (Shan). Proud and loving grandmother to Bresceis, Chevy, Maddux, Brayden, Noah and Thea. Sheena was daughther to the late Allistar and Madeleine. Beloved sister to Karen Baxter, Allison Phillips, Charlene McKinnon, Carolyn Peel (Dwayne), Janet Haldenby and Esther Netherton. Sheena will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Sheena was a feisty woman from the beginning until the end, she had a great sense of humor and given the opportunity and enough coffee and cigarettes she would sit and talk to you for hours. she always had a gentle way of talking, and assuring you that everything would be okay. Sheena had a love for all animals, horses in particular. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and collecting rocks and when she laughed, she laughed HARD. Sheena will always be remembered for her strong spirit, her loving and optimistic nature, and her passion for her family and the outdoors, especially basking in the sun, soaking it all in. She had a huge, infectious smile and we will miss her dearly. She had a heart of pure gold and the unbreakable spirit of a warrior. Sheena was always kind and generous to anyone that needed help, and would open her home to them. You could put Sheena in a room with anyone and she would make friends, she was a true social butterfly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to Pauline's Place or the Soup kitchen would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522). At this time, a private service in Sheena's honor will take place. Friends and family are invited to visit www.arthurfuneralhome.com obituaries section to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for the family.
