Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the age of 73 with her sons at her side.
Devoted wife of the late Eldon McLean. Loving mother of Allan (Kerri) and Glen (Shannon). Proud grandmother of Rebecca, Charlotte, Parker, Glen Jr., Caden and great grandmother of Rye-Lee, Roree, Ryder and Willow. Dear sister of Wayne Gareau (Cathy) and Carol Gauthier (Chris). Predeceased by her parents Philip and Pearl Gareau and her brother Philip Gareau Jr.. Sister-in-law of Virginia Gibbs (late Bud) and Roxy Bannister (late Doug) and predeceased by Lyle McLean (late Jean) and Phyllis Rancourt (late Joe). Also predeceased by Arnold and Annie McLean. Special aunt of Sheila Foley and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Phyllis will also be missed by her neighbourhood family at St. Michael’s Square. Special thank you to Sandra Mossa and Trish Zago and all the nurses on 2C at the Sault Area Hospital for their compassionate care. At Phyllis’ request, no services will be held.
