McLellan, William

(1913-2004) – We regret to announce the sudden passing of ‘Willie’ (to family and friends), ‘Bill’ (to business associates) and ‘the Candy Man’ (to many children). He left his beloved home on the hill January 24, to enter his home in heaven, leaving his dear wife, Margaret, after 64 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Alice Anne (Arthur) Pearce of Detroit, Ruth of Sault Ste. Marie, John (Marnie) of Barrie, Glen of Dubreuiville, and the late Jane. He will be missed by his grandchildren; Nancy (Mario) Bergner of West Chicago, David (Shannon) Pearce of Detroit, Jenni (Rob) Kilgour of Kelowna, Mandi McLellan of Welland, Shari McLellan of Sault Ste. Marie, Ryan McLellan of London, and great grandchildren; Justin, Nickolas, Joy, Lauren, Christopher, Luke, Isaac, Annelise and Eden. Bill was a local contractor since 1949 and was proud to see his company still continuing 55 years later. Friends and family may call at the Bethel Bible Chapel (407 McNabb Street) on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 from 2-4, 6-9 pm and on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 from 10 am until time of service in the chapel at 11 am. Bruce Cain and Mario Bergner officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Camp Aush-Bik-Koong, Gideons, or to the Bethel Bible Chapel Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
