Heinrich (Henry) Meister passed away in his 76th year at the General Hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 2003. With shattered hearts and deepest sorrow we had to say goodbye to a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Loving husband of Marianne, dear father of Birgit (Steve Sagle) and cherished Opa of Derek, Shannon, Dylan and Daniel Byrnes and step-grampa of Raili and Ashleigh Sagle. He will also be sadly missed by many friends and relatives in Germany. We will remember you in love for all the wonderful years you gave us. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Friday, May 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. then to St. Gerard Majella Church for funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George LaPierre officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
