Passed away peacefully, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of the late Ruby (nee DiGiamberardine). Cherished father of Markku and Erika (Mark). Grandfather of Brielle and Henry. Son of the late Sulo and Alma Merisalo. Son-in-law of the late Ormen and Berverly DiGiamberardine. Eric will be missed by many friends in Fort Myers, Florida, Soo Rod and Gun Club, Sault Trailblazers, City of Sault Ste. Marie and construction colleagues, coffee friends and neighbours and pets at Lake George.
Eric spent his days outdoors. He loved camping at Lake George, riding his Harley, going to the Rod and Gun Club and watching Nascar.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5 pm until 7 pm for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
