Peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene Meyers. Cherished father of Irene Paradis (Ron), Darlene Morley (Richard), Teresa Calder (Warren Morley), Katherine Sheard (David), Herb (Connie), Ted (Cecile), Ken, Shauna Mills (Mark). Much loved grandfather and great grandfather of many. James is survived by his brother Bob (late Barb) and sisters Chris Emms (late Alfred), Doreen Desautel (late John). He is predeceased by his parents Herb and Helen Meyers, his brother Earl (late Mary), and sisters June Strachan (late John) and Betty Davies (Ivan). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private family service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522).
