Passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Algoma Residential Community Hospice with her children by her side. She was 66 years young with a long life ahead of her. Royanne has walked into the arms of her late husband Alex. Proud mother to Carly (Wyland) and Kevin (Melissa). Adoring grandmother of Markus Love, Megan and Emma Mitchell. Beloved sister of Joan (Nick) and Peggy (late Gerry). Loved by her mother Dorothy and her late father Lloyd. Sister-in-law of Rob (Joanne), Tom (Inga), Shirley Bassett, Patti Biron and the late Mike and Terry Mitchell. Royanne will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Royanne loved golfing with her sister, Greyhound games and the casino. She also enjoyed volunteering her time at St. Luke’s Cathedral as an Altar Guild member. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel, 492 Wellington Street, East, Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral service to be held at St. Luke’s Cathedral on Friday, January 26 at 10 am. The Very Rev. James McShane officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
