Pat passed away at the Davey Home, with her children by her side at the age of 91. Pat had an adventurous and fun-loving spirit, emigrating from England to New Zealand and then on to Canada before meeting her husband of 53 years, Gary Monteith (1934-2014), in Toronto, Ontario. Cherished mother of Dan and Jennifer. She will be missed.
Pat taught night-school courses and ran her own bookkeeping business, supporting many local businesses. Pat was a beautiful quilter, an avid reader, and volunteered for many local charities including the Cancer Clinic, Cancer Quilts, Maycourt Club and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She loved travelling, line dancing and socializing with her quilting groups, sorority sisters and many friends.
She is the beloved sister of Myrna Wooding (late Stan) of New Zealand, Beryl Pedersen (late Ben) of Oshawa, late Bill Gosling (Anne) of the UK, late Barbara Sellwood (late William) of the UK and sister-in-law of the late Barbara-Gail Weinsieder (late Allan) of Fredericton.

In keeping with the family's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
