Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, August 7, 2017 in his 80th year with family by his side. Cherished husband of Joan for 54 years. Loving father of Jill Miller (Jim) and Lynn Nadeau (Clem). Proud and loving Bubba of Jake and Breanna. Great Bubba of Hayden. Predeceased by his parents William and Olive Morton. Brother of Gail Davidson, late Jane Morton and the late Colleen Piccolo (late Mario). Son-in-law of the late Hazen and the late Frances Smith of New Brunswick. Brother-in-law of Donald Smith (Joan), Gary Smith (late Sharon), and Nancy Wallace of Nova Scotia. Gary will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gary’s love for the game of baseball, kept him striding to the mound to pitch for the Sault Monarch’s well into his 30’s. At Gary’s request, no funeral services will take place.
