Passed away peacefully with her daughter and daughter's father (Randy Bull) by her side on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice from neuro endocrine tumors (cancer).

Loved and forever missed mother of Adam and Ashley dearly loved granny of Marshall Aidan Ava Autumn and Zachary. Daughter of the late Robert (1998) and Inga (1992) Murray. Adored sister of the late Bobby (1995). Liz is now reunited with family and many friends she lost along her journey. Liz will always be remembered by Mike and Lynda from Elliot Lake, thank you two for being there for our mom and finding it in your hearts to accept Liz for who she was, we couldn't be more grateful.

We would like to thank Dr Groh of Elliot Lake for her care and compassion during my mother's stay.  We would also like to thank the nurses and volunteers at ARCH who made my mother's lengthy stay there more than comfortable, we couldn't have gotten through most days without you guys. We know how much you adored our mother thank you for treating her as your own.

Dad, thank you for being there for Mom her last wish was to see you, thank you ARCH for making that happen, she went just the way she wanted to and there is no more pain. Mom you are free and we love you.

Shannon, Rob and Jay, thank you guys for showing up when no one even asked, my dad and I couldn't have asked or expected the support we received from real friends.

Mom the traditions will carry on through our children, Sunday dinners are a real thing, and Adam just wants you to know he's never taken it off not since the day you put it on him, the cross is more special now than it was when he was a young man.

As per Liz's request there will be no funeral service and cremation has already taken place. Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) can be made to SOYA (Save our Young Adults) or the Canadian Mental Health Society.  Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522).  Messages of condolence may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for Mary's family.
