Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Born to Arthur and Mary Lees in Walford Station on October 24, 1936.
Predeceased by her husband and best friend Eric, and daughter Debbie Welch. Loving mother of Robin (Bev), Wayne (Shannon), Michael (late Darlene and best friend Judy) and Sheri-Lynne (Tom). Cherished grandmother to Billie-Jo (Josh), Clinton (Kelly), Jeff (Candace), Laura (Ben), Michael-John, Damon (Gabi), and Christopher. Fondly remembered by many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Eli, Douglas, Melville (Faye), Boyter (Barb), Bob (Pat), Randolph and her sister Eva Gillespie-Evans (late Marvin). Survived by her sister Edith Pederson (Wes), and sister-in-law Gail Nyberg.
Many thanks to staff of the Alzheimer Society, F.J. Davey Home and Sault Area Hospital whom made her last days comfortable by showing compassion and care.
