With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Annunziata at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the age of 77. We take great comfort knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband, Antonio. Cherished mother of Cathy (Joe), Nanci, Josie Jennings (Dion). Very special Nonna of Nick Oliviero (Stephanie), Matthew Oliviero, and Olivia Jennings. Proud Bisnonna of Anthony and Florence Pearl. Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Caterina Parisi. Sister of 2 sisters and one late brother. Daughter-in-law of the late Giuseppe and Rosa Oliviero. Sister-in-law of four sisters and one brother, all of Italy. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Her love for cooking and caring for her family carried into her professional life where she was a cook for over 30 years, proudly feeding the community before retiring. She loved nothing more than having her family around the table for lunchtime meals. She found great joy caring for her garden and supervising yard work. Her heart was most filled spending time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to The War Amps, Diabetes Association, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
