It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of René Ouellet at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Thursday June 29, 2023, in his 91st year, with his family by his side. Reunited with his loving wife Thérese and son Gilles (Julie). Cherished father of Estelle Orlando (late Eugene), Linda Becking (Ronald) and Denise Gauvin (Jean-Pierre). Proud Pépére to Elise (Lee), Erica (Brian), Emily (Curt), Baillee (Tom), Jasper, Michel (Janique), Mathieu, Ashley (Jeremy) and Crystal. Grand Pépère to Dean, Grant, Preston, Beckett, Sawyer and Nicolas.
Predeceased by his parents Alcide and Annette Ouellet. Brother to the late Gilbert (late Jeannine), late Bertrand (Marie), Roland (late Irene), Monique (late Josephat) and Rachel (Oscar). René was brother-in-law to many and was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St., SSM) on Wednesday July 5, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of the service in the chapel at 1:00pm, with Deacon Rob Thibodeau officiating. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre to follow.
